This was the inspiration for the Italian Designer Giorgio Gasco for designing the Paffe sofa. He designed the Paffe with its signature removable quilts or tapettini, which serve as soft armrests but can be removed and laid out on the floor as additional seats; a playful appearance that resonates with Giorgio’s own exploratory nature. Paffe’s gently curved, soft seats & quilts are made with distinctive textures and colours that mirror the mellifluous and charming tapestry of Indian streets and architecture – harmony in chaos. Once the quilts are removed, the Paffe’s rich teak wood structure with its brass details is revealed, with an unpretentious and minimal form.
